Welcome To The Hub
Our Story…
The Hub was founded by Ruth in 2019. It all began from a humble beginning as a small farm shop with only two tables, serving small bites, coffee and cake. From day one, friendly, down to earth service has been at the core of the Hubs success, alongside quality produce. Even in it’s earliest days, the Hub lived up to its name by providing a friendly platform for people to meet and enjoy great food and drink.
Ruth has been a tenant at Warner’s Farm for many years previous to the Hub’s existence and, when further units became available, Ruth decided it was the right time for the Hub to grow. With the help of a few local builders and regular customers, the building was extended and The Hub Farm Shop and Bistro was born. Battling through the COVID era, the Hub community only grew stronger, and larger, and so did the demand for homemade, local, honest, food.
The next chapter began in March 2023 when Lewis joined as Head Chef (and now co-owner) at the Hub. Lewis has built a wealth of knowledge in the food industry over the last 20 years, working in places such as Pennyhill Park and Alec’s Restaurant, as well as working abroad. He instantly fell in love with what Ruth had created. With Ruth’s great service and Lewis’s passion for food, their paths naturally aligned, committing to drive The Hub to its full potential for many years to come.
What is The Hub?
The Hub is a cosy place with three particular zones. Walk-In’s are always welcome, however due to our size, we recommend that you book a table before you visit as we do not want you to be disappointed.
We welcome dogs at our outside tables. No dogs are allowed inside, except guide dogs.
The Coffee Shop
Grab a delicious coffee. We use a local roaster, creating a unique high quality coffee. Our shop is a perfect area for a catch up with your friends.
The Farm Shop & Produce
Artisan produce from local suppliers. It may be small but it’s packed full of great, high quality produce.
The Hub Bistro & Bar
Our main dining areas are cosy, and comfortable. Our bar is fully licensed and stocked, it’s the perfect place to accommodate larger tables.
